He may win the ticket, but he can not win the election. I hope he isn't the GOP candidate because he can not win the election. I loved him as president, was one of the best. But his mouth has ruined his chances. The moderates will not vote for him.

Done with what? I’ll agree that criticism of the dead is not a good look most of the time. I’ll also say that Trump is sometimes his own worst enemy. I respect Mr. Powell’s service but I did not agree with his politics at all and do not believe that he was a conservative. And while I believe that criticism of public figures goes with the job, and is not without merit in this case, sometimes it’s best to keep your mouth shut.

Exactly. Saying nothing would have been much better. He just swayed a group of people that were on the fence. Those are the deciding factor.

Can he win an election..? not sure...we'll probably never know because Dem's will cheat as always. However I still think the party is his, if he wants the nomination it's his to take. The rest are counterfeits almost without exception.

It's not a Biden issue. No one is saying "I'm switching to democrats". I'm saying he just lessened his chances as the republican ticket. "Lessened" isn't a strong enough term. I think he just killed his chances.

The only way he doesn't take the nomination is if the Republican party pulls some sh!t like the democrats did, and that is entirely possible. If he runs he smokes all other Republicans bar none imo. It's several years away so we'll see if he goes for it. Show me one other Republican that could even fill up a high school gym right now or up to the primary and you may change my mind.
