Pretty sure Ole Captrae has rode some pretty good swells in his day. But this one might be one he cant ride out.
On a serious note. Have you ever been in the process of building a new home for yourself? The reason I ask I've been told by several home owners that have built new homes that after a few years there's several things that they would change and would like to build another to remedy their mistakes on the first build. .
While I possess empathy and compassion for his vast dilemma of having 100 trophy mounts and no place to properly display them, I don't feel sorry for him at all. He is a salty ole dog and will be perfectly fine without any help from you men with his trophy room. I simply feel sorry for the majority of you, now, because it finally dawned upon me that most ignored his original post, simply for lacking any artistic ability at all.
I had that in mind, which was the reason that I mentioned "downstairs". It can be designed out of material which will not leak. I think it best to have it on stone flooring, as well. Such would work extremely well in carrying the eye throughout the entire trophy room from the stone mount.

Good luck with the trophy room Cap,...mine needs a redo as well...I like a shiplap look of some kind myself but there are a lot of good options.
