First piece of crap that pulls that and doesn't make the shot had better watch it. I shoot very little at actual living creatures, but I do put in plenty of time on targets with the 7mm...He's going to try that with the wrong person once and that will be that. I would be one of those wrong people for him to try it with.
I am also disabled, and I could carry a tree stand that far as well. Our local CO caught trespassers for x-ing my property yesterday, when he found them they didn't have hunter orange on, the one guy was on a disability license had carried a tree stand over 1/4 mile up hill to the ridge top.
It amazes me what some guys will do to hunt behind my house.
they may not want to catch a poacher, but if you were out and took off your orange hat or something minor they would be right there and nail you to the wall

It might take me a little longer than it used to but by god I'll get er ther!!!
man, that's a pretty big sore spot for me. I've given up bow hunting because of my back, but I still put in a full work week every week. I've known people who have had strokes and are paraplegics that still work and others that aren't able and have tried to get disability but were rejected. If you can carry a portable tree stand 1/4th of a mile up a hill to a ridge top there should be some work available. I wouldn't even attempt that for fear of getting hurt worse and not being able to work and provide.
