Only time I ever had a problem with water was the one that got submerged in a flash flood at the base of a mountain. It was a goner. Never had any other water problems regardless of the weather.

Take them down. Only time water ever got in mine was a few years ago when I left them all winter. If snow and ice lays on them for days and weeks at a time it will find its way in. You can also take electrical tape and go around the opening.

Can't get pics if you take them down

True. Where I hunt I just don't get a lot of pics of value right now so I'd rather not risk my cameras b/c it might be turkey season before I get a chance to check them.
