Sorry about the double post.
It seems like that picture deserves a story...
Like many of my funny hunting pictures it involves my hunting partner, his funny ones probably involve me, but I will explain.
From his elevated climbing stand on a point he missed a doe coming up the ridge, it spooked the deer some but it didn’t leave, seconds shots are not just rare but tend to make one nervous. It sounded like a loud bone hit on the second shot, but then after getting down he found his arrow, about 15’ in a tree where it remains! Lol
Saved by the spikes on his head!
We never met personally.
I need to dig my burner out. I bought 100 shield cut from Gateway the other day and that was a pretty good lick
