Nice one ABLongbow!! Any details appreciated. What's the story??
You made me laugh, Carpdaddy! Awesomest quiver ever! LOL!!
Goin back to my roots for my KY spring turkeys, and for deer season. My first stick bow from 2005. Bear Grizzly, 65#. Twisted up a new FF flemish string for her, braced it at 8". A couple puff balls for in case, and some full length gold tip 300s with 250 grains up front. First 2 bare shafts at 10 yards in the basement, and just a low, dull thump. I can work with that. First time this bow has been shot in probably 10 years. I feel like a kid right now haha
Looking good Meatstick! I would have to go back several years to shoot a 65# bow again! Best of luck on your hunts. Be sure to buy some feathers for those arrows before hunting! Lol; sorry couldn’t resist.
I'd shit my pants if I walked through the woods an seen that head on that tree
That thing was on my cousins farm, it was my first time there, I was scouting. If I had hunted until dark and met that thing on my way out, hit it with my flashlight, I would probably had the same response! I ask her what the heck. She said that she often walks up to the top of the mountain for exercise, her kids did it to scare her, there were several other things like this in the mountain. I said “thanks for not warning me”, she just laughed!
In the garage today prepping arrows and cooking Squirrel dumplings!
The dumplings look good !

You guys are having too much fun.
Yesterday, I blew the dust off my old PSE Blackhawk and let a few fly.
I hit the kill zone on my 5th attempt from 12 yards. Then I got overconfident, and lost an arrow from 20 yards.
Testing some arrows today, two un-fletched, and two matching with fletch, twenty yards.
Bow approx 43# at my draw. Arrow spine .500, tip weights 225 on 30” shaft, 250 on 29”.
The un-fletched were social distancing themselves from the fletched. Back kicking up and hitting low, nock high.
Last round, 20 yards, blue pin gone. Look close to see metal pin...
I was having a good day!
