Tractoring. Dirt farming. Poor folks and poor ways.

Whatever you want to call it I'm in the midst of it.

Massey Ferguson MF50. Just got a messed up tie rod extricated and am poised to install the new and literally get it back on all four wheels.

I am also at a crossroads with the exhaust. Previous owner had it routed straight from the manifold up with the little flapper. I am not real keen on no muffler and running exhaust pipe upwards where it's gonna blow back in my face. The old TO's and TE's the exhaust went downwards and under the foot platform before ending right in front of the rear axle. The con to that is it is down low and can get ripped off by stuff you run over or back over.

What say you? Muffler and up or muffler and down?

I'll route the gas line so it is not exposed to the manifold or exhaust.

Picture too big. Anyone know how to make the phone on an android less bytes so I can attach it?

We had an old Case that dumped out at the rear axel. Couldn't stand hooking anything up to it when it was running. All of ours now go up. It doesn't really blow in the face the wind usually keeps it out of the face.

I got a 2015 75hp new holland that has a custom order exhaust that comes out right by rear axle was like a 2500$ exhaust. It was ordered that way for clearance to get in and out of low barns. Everything else goes up. Just run a new middle and put it up high enough the exhaust goes over your head.
