    3. Game bags
    4. Once it drops into the 40's, extra pair of socks. My feet sweat, then get cold
    5. Quality backpack with load shelf... Best deer hunting investment I think I've ever made for hunting in these mountains.

    Light
That's the 6 I prefer not to go w/out lol
I remember when I first started I thought you was a sissy to have a fanny pack so I'd stuff ever pocket I had with something then get to the tree and set there uncomfortable as hell half the day bc of it lol. Still not a fanny pack fan(lol) but wear a half assed backpack that you can strap extra duds to. Since there isn't any swamps to speak of where I hunt the smartest thing ive done is jump off the rubber boot band wagon...no idea why it took more than a year to figure that one out but my feet thanked me lol

If it's not in here it's probably coming. I've heard tales they charge a man to put a boat in his own piece of water,....I fully expect them to charge me to put out the bird feeders in my yard someday. Lists such as these only grow and get more expensive,...they NEVER get shorter and more affordable. Bureaucracy and Gooberment at it's finest.

Assuming I have my weapon, stand and harness...

    1. knife/gut hook/ saw combo
2.multi-hook strap for hanging my pack, weapon etc.
    3. Game bags. I usually hunt alone on public so quartering is my only option.
    4. My hunting pack - I really need it in case I get one. I’m able to load it up with the quarters.
    5. Head lamp

    honorable mention(s)
-my phone... it helps a ton when figuring how much farther I need to go, and when I need to get sneaky.
-Milk weed... or dog hair that I have an abundance of. My theory is that if it’s landing where I think the deer are, then I’m busted anyways.
    -Range finder

Underrated for sure. I use them for really sparse blood trails at night too. Nothing like looking back 100 yards and being able to see the exact route a deer took.

I’ve literally never heard of that. That’s a really good idea.
