    Lately, there are several good cartridges that seem to faded from discussions. The .22-250 Remington for example, along with a few of the newer .22 center fire cartridges developed back in the 1980's & '90's. Seems like its all about the .223 Remington these days; also there are more rifles chambered for the .22 Hornet than for the .222, which was suppose to replace the .22 Hornet & .218 Bee. It's much more easy to find a rifle chambered for the .22 Hornet than the .222 Rem. The .22 Hornet is another favorite of mine too.

    Love my 22-250. Put a hurtin on some prairie dogs in Wyoming a few years ago. Pink mist. :)
    220 swift is a good one also.
