No one asked for GPS coordinates....
Just general success or failure reports , depth etc....
We fished KY Lake Sat and Sunday. Ended up with 10 or so keepers each day longlining jigs in 8-15 feet of water.
Terrible season for me so far. I cant wait till summer for all this rain to stop and the night fishing to fire up. Every time I go out a cold front has come thru with 3 + inches of rain.
Have they moved up to the banks yet? Or still hanging out a little deeper?
That seems to be my luck.
I do not have electronics mounted so I tend to fish visible cover or set out a drift sock and just do a poor mans spider rig by drifting across channels with every rod I own leaned over the side with a jig or minnow dragging behind. Easter we tried deep water with no bites and did not see anyone else catching either. Last Sat we tried a creek and caught several fish but all were short so I assume the big mammas are or were as of last Sat still out in deeper water.
You sound a lot like me. Thinking about taking tomorrow off and giving it a try. Just got to figure out what the lake is like first.
Here's one a buddy from PA caught Sunday.
Same buddy and quackrstackr from Sat.
