I’m pretty sure they can’t legally do that. Insurance is paid in advance which is why your insurance is good through the end of the month you last worked.
I wasn’t saying they didn’t do it, I meant I’m pretty sure it was illegal.
If the frame is bent and trans broke best thing to do would be take off some parts and leave it sit lol.
I love that they paid dearly for not listening to you.

Poop Decks: What Are They and Why Are They Called That?
"Swabbing the Poop Deck also gave the crew something to do to prevent boredom during long sailings."
First mistake is anyone from work having your personal phone number. I have a work phone and when I leave the job site it is turned off until the morning of my return. I could personally care less what happens when I'm not there. I have a hard time remembering how to get to work on Monday.
I work for a company with 100 employees. She works for one with thousands. It's simple math. They can get better rates.
Plus she's 2.5 years younger than me so she'll probably work a little longer but both are ready to retire.
Unfortunately I'm at least 5 years away.
I have been thinking of retiring but i think i will work a couple more years.
Duh. My wife is self employed with two employees. Lol. No brainer
4 years, I’m part time, just to keep insurance. If she wants to sell out to her associate then I’m good with it. I don’t care. But Jan 1, 2025, I’m officially part time, working from home 100%.
That's good idea, but it's hard enough to explain why women calling one phone if I had 2 the wife probably hire a private investigator to track me
Take the time off but answer your phone if they call. If you’re busy or don’t want to answer it…don’t
The only reason I go to work is because they pay me to be there, when they pay me to stay home thats what I do.
Nope, never felt bad at all. A job is a job. I'll bust my ass while I'm at work and getting paid. Even took calls while off duty to help out on duty folks from time to time. When the day is over, it's my time.
No one ever wanted "He's a good employee" on a tombstone, so far as I know. I work because I have bills to pay and things I need or want. The latter list is slowly getting smaller, as I prioritize things in my life. I try to enjoy work as best as I can, but it's not my life. Anyone who expects that can screw right off. My family are my first - and only - concern. Anything else is secondary.
