It works! I was pleasantly surprised! My wife and I cast our holding hands. Just need to clean up a few bubbles and mount it somehow...

My girlfriend bought one of those about 6 months ago. Haven't had the time to use it yet

Follow the directions to a tee. There is still clean up. It did take a lot longer than the few minutes called for in the directions. We had to let the stuff set up with our hands in the bucket for over 10 minutes.

So. Did you hold hands then put them in, or did you put your hands in then held hands and let it set up?

Yes. Practice posing until you find the pose you want. Then mix the "goo" and stick your posed hands in and wait. You can see and feel the "goo" changing to solid. The pink color goes away starting at the skin on your wrist. Then very carefully wiggle and pull your hands out. Don't rush that part or you'll tear the mold. You can see people do it on YouTube.

The casting cleaned up nicely. The bubbles and edges were easy enough to smooth out. The edges of her fingernails didn't fare too well while breaking the rubber mold apart. But I smoothed the edges to make them look nice. Found an old Hobby Lobby display case(candle holder?) to hold the casting. It now rests on the mantle piece in our family room.
