No offense, but I thought the snood is supposed to be red...looks a bit off for my taste. Otherwise pretty good

No offense back to ya but the snood is the color I want it to be. To be honest with ya I've never killed a turkey when his snood was red. A Turkeys head changes color his snood could have been red, blue, a pinkish color, but what ever the case I can paint it to your taste.

Sort of got me curious ... one of those things I guess never paid a lot of attention to.

Which I've got 2 mounted and on the wall here in the den.... both their snoods are done in red.

So... just looked back through some in the field pics of turkeys I've taken. Some of which were taken relatively immediately after the tom was put on the ground. The majority have been more or less a faint red to pinkish color. But have a few pics where they were entirely light blue or nearly white with exception of the very tip being a real pale red.

Guess it all depends as there's no right or wrong color . Which I personally like my mounts as the red gives a little more contrast.... but that's just me.

    Mounts.... red snood.

Probably 20+ minutes after harvest.... 2015 tom

Same as above 20+ minutes after harvest ... 2014 tom.

Pic immediately after shot ... snood is blue... 2013 tom.

I actually did there buddy...it's not a natural color by any means, but since you decided to comment like this then you should look closer at the pics. Both of those turkeys are mostly white with scant blue at the base. I said the color was off for me, and I am free to post whenever I feel the need. It was merely my opinion and I could not find a pic anywhere on the internet of a snood that blue on any live bird, which is the reason for my comment. Glad you can make it any color you wish to suit your customer.

Just explaining myself after your last comment...a bit condescending, but it's ok. Nice job on the feather work though.
