I agree that its a moving target. I don't agree with your assessment of it being basically a 1 in a 1000 chance of getting the right one. They always say Flu type A, flu type B, etc. IF the flu shot has a 25% chance of working and we know its higher, why not take it? I'm 48, had the flu when I was 6 years old in first grade and missed a week of school. Took the vaccine starting about age 30 every year since. They've shut school down about 15 times or more since I've been working over the years. You honestly think the flu shot didn't help a thing in all of that and I was just lucky or had one Hell of an immune system??
Using that logic….I’ve never had the flu shot nor have I had the flu (knock on wood). That being said, I guess we can surmise that the flu shot it pointless.

You can have Covid and you build natural antibodies. After 90 days "give or take" those natural antibodies start to fizzle out. After they fizzle out, you can catch Covid again. That's the purpose of the booster vaccine. Several months after your vaccination they weaken. Then you go and strengthen it back up.
Where on earth did you come up with 90 days?!?
