Watching The Revenant on Prime right now. Any movie that starts with the sound of an elk bugling is pretty good in my book and this one is no exception. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about Hugh Glass who was a trapper, hunter, and explorer along the Missouri River in the early 1800’s. I think most on here would like it.

I just watched it a couple nights ago for the upteenth time. It’s a remake of Man In The Wilderson from 1971 starring Richard Harris. You’ll find it on Prime too.

Now it all comes together. I remember Richard Harris. That is where I saw the Hugh Glass story. I have seen it mentioned in some books about the frontier and the trappers.

I've seen it many times. Very good movie. Leonardo DiCaprio is a very good actor. The Departed is a great movie he's in as well.

Steve rinella is not a fan of the Revenant. The production team took some liberties. I like the movie myself.

He’s excellent in everything, the Robert Redford of his generation. The Aviator and Wolf Of Wall Street are my two favorites.
