I've only noticed the rubber duck thing over the last year or two. Several jeeps have the dash filled up with ducks. Don't get it.
I see em on jeeps around here all the time and when people get one they thank the others in the club in Facebook or whatever. We also have some sort of jeep club in the next town over from me. They supposed to raise money for needy people and other charities but I really don't know what it's all about. Must just be a jeep thing

Jeeps were cool with bigger tires, maybe a brush guard or something. Now these little soy boys take the fender flares off and put I think they’re limb guards on them and the most action they see is if it snows or they have a gravel driveway.

Makes as much sense as the conspiracies. The ducks must be the brains behind the deal. ;)
I saw a Tacoma one day that said “puddle jumper” on rear window. Maybe that’s what the duck is for. Everytime they splash water on the alternator and the warranty replaces it, they give them a duck… on the 5th duck you have to buy your own alternator.

Looking through some vintage pics tonight,..here is a few vintage Ky...a Store in Letcher Co,..a snow/ice storm in Columbus Ky, looks like possibly an American Elm back in the left. Pics are from around 1900 ish supposedly. View attachment 107934 View attachment 107936
Columbus is down here in far western end overlooking the Mississippi River so the ice storm picture is likely from 1902, worst one prior to 2008. Here’s Paducah at the time.
