It all started when I was just started huntin. I was about 5 or 6 when I started to go out squirrel hunting with my dog. About 6 years later some yotes and coy dogs killed him when he ran out ahead late one evnin. I head the dog scream I just had a .22 and he ran off about a few hundred yards cause I was lettin him run ahead a little bit. I came up to where they killed him a few still lingered around. I went pyshco. I was shootin at every one of em but I was still small and the .22 was a adult sized gun but I hit a few just woundin em but they just layed there. I went to town on em with my pocket knife cuttin throats. That is the origin of the masacre.
What kind of knife did you use ? Was it a fixed blade and how long?Did you burey your dog or was there not enough left we need more info your being alittle sketchy and i believe there is more to this story.Man i wish you would of had that Magnum BB gun with you!!
I have utmost respect for any 5 yr old that was mature enough that he could not shoot an adult sized 22 rifle, but control a dog and not be scared to be out in the woods alone. Your skills and woodsmanship never cease to amaze me. You should talk to Steven Speilberg. You and him could make millions. You tell the story and him make a movie out of it........
I am impressed with your experience and shooting abilities. Your woodsmanship is top notch. I think your experiences should be lessons to all hunters and it would be a great service to our heritage if they were written down for prosperity. You should begin writing memoirs and possibly look for a book deal in the future. What other weapons have you mastered?
