I know it’s deer season but I have fall birds on my mind.

I contacted Apex this week about 16ga loads. They haven’t been able to purchase any 16ga components since July of 21. They’ve been out of 12ga 2 3/4 since then too.

Federal will make a custom 16 load but they are $110 for 10. 1 1/8 oz. I may suck it up and make an order before spring.
Man it’s high dollar shooting but after using TSS this past season, I’m hooked!!

Ive been laying off to buy some Tungsten shot to reload. Just kinda hard to choke the price. Ballistic Products has all kinds of load data for tungsten.. they sell tungsten shot too..

First was 12ga 2 3/4 #9 TSS at 17yds. Second was 16ga #9 TSS at 12yds. Both fixed full chokes opening week 2022.

I could have killed both with a 7.5 lead light load at that range but having the option to stretch these old guns to 40 is sure nice. The patterns are so tight I don’t tear up as much meat/beards either.

I definitely agree about less meat hits. And your pictures are exactly what I learned this season. It just folds them up!!

Don’t need tss if you call them in to 35 yards and Less like you’re supposed to. Last thing anyone needs is dumbasses popping 60 yard shots at turkeys they can’t call in.
Wow,is it still OK to use 20 gauge or do we have to all go to 410,since you seem to be the recent moral compass.

Your the 1 who called people on here dumbasses not me. As long as rule book says TSS is legal and we buy tags I'm gonna use it. If it takes a 60 yard shot on public land so be it.
