Job interview tomorrow threw a wrench in my plans. Prepping today. Interview is at noon tomorrow ill hunt Friday night and this weekend.
Nowhere to go in my current role, almost topped out. New role opens a bunch of doors and work from home. Need to get it.

Going in at daylight to look for a buck my 10 yr old shot yesterday evening. Hoping like he'll we find it, he is worried sick.

Some doe,s and turkeys went thru,9:30. 10:00 ,done till afternoon

Missed a bobcat. Grrr. 80-90 yards in creek bottom. Thick as hell but wasn’t gonna get an open shot. Saw a pretty 8, 110ish. Saw a nice buck that may have been a shooter but broken all to hell. Right beam broke at brow. Brow about 6-7” long. Left beam broke about half way out. One tine that was broken still was 6-7” long. Thick looking beam. Saw a spike too. All three cruising hard.

No luck on finding the boys deer. With the routes the deer had to go, all uphill, I believe he may still be alive. Got a broke front left shoulder for sure. But I believe its still living. Hopefully it shows back up

Finally got out for a morning hunt and someone started bulldozing a hillside about 400 yards away. Can’t catch a break this year.

Hang in there if you guys are still after them. I was walking to the work truck a few minutes ago to head out on a call and a nice 2 1/2 year old buck chased a doe across the pasture behind the house off into a thick draw not 75 yds from the truck so they are still chasing just hang in there!
