Why is it so good?

I’m not hardcore but I like to fish.

Can someone enlighten me on what it is about Taylorsville that makes it good or excellent for so many different species?

Good to excellent????? All in the eye of a fisherman. Fertile, plenty of shad & a lot of cover for fish to thrive. Very heavily fished & the covid years (IMO) the lake took a hit on keeper sized fish.

I was referring to the KDFWR fishing forecast.

My judgement may have been a little impaired last night but the lake has 6 species that should be “good”.

It doesn’t seem to be as good for cats. Especially at the dam. Not with the otters hanging around.

Its the time of year when everything realizes its spring. The grass is growin and the bugs are movin around. The whole food chain is alive. Tight lines
