I can typically make out enough detail in the regular pics to see which deer I'm looking at. When you pull the cards they'll be good pics. I've never felt the need to pay extra for the HD pics. Been very happy with the Reveal X after using them all last year

I like my pics, get plenty, and seems like I’ve paid like $8 a month the past two years. I just run it like August- January. BTW, 199 for two right now on the reveal website.

I can say that the hd pics are nice and having to pay extra for them stink. I run 6 reveals plus other brands. For the best pic quality without paying for it is the wiseeye mini hands down. Then the bushnell cellucore 20 gives unlimited hd request. Followed by the spartan go cam.

This was the last pic, or close to it, i had with a reveal, I just really never had all that good of luck with them, but i have had some strange looking pics, for sure. I returned this camera to the store, and i told the guy, i was getting, some weird pics, he said this pic, the deer was just turning its head, back and forth.lol I said might be at sub sonic speed.

My reveal takes good pics but the antennae sucks. My sons browning strikeforce gets great reception when the reveal won’t even have a single bar.

Depends on the model. The XB and the SK have better cell modems. The X doesn’t get near as good of signal as the other two.

I've had no issues with my Tactacams. I have 5, the HD deal, you pay once, and you can request from any camera. If you don't want to pay for HD's pull the card! They are all HD. My Spartans, I don't have to pay for HD's, they are free!

Love my Spartans so much more, we’ve got 7 total. You don’t even need HD pics from them 99% of the time if you’re using large thumbnails. And the video quality is too notch. Don’t even have to request. Just automatically sends it. I’ve got 3 Reveals that I went with because of their cheaper price point. Nothing wrong with them. But after Spartan lowered their price to $199, there’s no comparison.
