Anybody know if it's possible to switch to a LEA after the hunt has started? I talked to a guy that says he done it last year. The place I'm hunting and scouted went from plenty of sign to nothing fresh in over a week.

Gonna give them a call in the morning. I'm not counting on it but it's not looking good in my spot.

Told me the same thing today. Actually talked to another guy today that said they let him change from at large to a LEA last year. Said they gave him a number to write on his hang tag and permit

By definition it should be no, LEA = Limited Entry Area, so one would have to have open spots even if they did. There were changes and new areas acquired during the season last year so perhaps something out of the ordinary occurred?

He said he called and they hadn't filled all the spots so they allowed him in. The person I spoke with said it was not allowed this year.
