Just switched to Smith guide series chroma-pop! Really really good see a lot more fish with them and they have a guide program that makes them affordable.
Best glass out there hands down. I’ve sold and worn most all the top end sunglasses and there is no comparison for fishing, skiing etc….anything requiring definition in varying light situations

Order you some Nemesis safety glasses off Amazon. Get 6 pair for 30 dollars. They ain’t polarized but they are damn good sun glasses/safety glasses.

Been a few times I thought about picking up nice pair and even recently caught myself looking on-line at Leupold's new sunglass line.

Never owned a popular name brand pair and cant come to terms on giving much money for a pair of sunglasses and dont think I ever spent more than $15-$20 on a walmart pair.

Sunglasses were not a priority to me ..... and use to be hard on them either breaking the ear / nose piece, scratching the lens and lost several pairs over the years at the farm. But will say, I got a cheap pair in the truck I've had 5-6 years now. Thats a record for me.

I've never had a pair that I've paid more than $20 for either. I'm at the age now where I'm not gonna be cowboying around with them, so a good pair will (should) last a long time.

I've never seen some of these brands in a store. I got a big ole melon head and I gotta try them on before I buy them. What store has Shady Rays or Costas?

You can find some Costas at some outdoors and sporting goods stores. I’ve only seen SR online. Costa is very upscale compared to SR. My SR’s have been like $40.

I have a melon head too. I have to have the flimsy ear piece ones in the el cheapos. I have a pair of costa reefton pro XL that’s still too tight above my ears, which is the largest they make, that I’m aware. The el cheapos are more comfortable. I’ve never had a pair of sunglasses that fit my head right. Cabelas has Costas; not sure about the other brand.

I had a pair of Smith Optics for 17 years and sent them back for a very minor repair and adjustment (lifetime warranty). They emailed me and said they were defective and gave me $200 to pick something out to replace them with. Can’t beat that. I had a pair of Maui Jims that literally fell apart while on my face and they wanted $90 to replace/replace them. I’ll never buy them again.
