Beautiful pictures. Two different coyotes or same one different pose?

Same coyote, same pose, two different camera perspectives.

U are the mam,alway great pics,and read

Thanks.

I got a dozen pictures of that coyote in his final 3 days. I don't care about deer hunting, I'm shooting every coyote that I get a chance at this year.

Just spent six hours reading through this thread. What a great read. Love the pictures especially the wildlife. Did forest, prairie, savanna and wetland maintenance and restoration for 10 years for Indiana’s DNR wildlife department. Have my own farm in Edmonson County KY since 2016 that I’ve been doing the same thing as you have. Keep up the good work Stone Branch.

Oh I use Baccto planting mix to cold stratify my American Chestnut (Dunstan variety) seeds with only 2 or 3 molding out of 320 last year. Been doing this for six years. Have 280 chestnut trees from 2 1/2 to 6 1/2 years old in my orchards. See my ad in American Chestnut seedlings for sale Mammoth Cave KY in the Classified forum. In depth info on how I plant.

Thank you. Love the chestnut timbers and boards in your buildings. And to have the forester show you an area where old growth chestnut was how cool. You need to really look around to see if you might have any chestnut that might have been blight resistant. On another note I’ve had a similar experience with a log cabin. Bought a farm in Newton County IN. That county was the last county made and was a rough and wild area until late 1800’s. Had to tear down the house as it was falling apart. Luckily I was taking it down by hand not bulldozing. Inside I found a log cabin. According to the Newton county historical society this cabin was built like 1840 on the shore of Beaver Lake. Beaver Lake was the largest natural lake in IN (until it was drained) and part of the massive wetland along the Kankakee River. As you can see there is some sawed boards for the upstairs floor and roof that probably came from a sawmill that was operating on the Kankakee at the time. The timbers which are all Walnut and a few White Oaks came from the upland forest on the west side of the lake. As you can see at one time the cabin got lifted up for a brick foundation and later a concrete foundation for multiple room additions. It also had big cutouts for windows and doors. The outside walls had wood siding with vinyl siding over it. It was a cool experience and I donated the cabin to the county. First couple of pictures show cabin after taking down additions and exterior wood and vinyl. Second couple of pictures is getting the cabin ready to move to a new location. Last couple of pictures is cabin at the Newton County Business Center in Morocco In.

Cool old cabin that you donated, do you have any finished pictures of the gable end that had the other big cut out?

Like the old bridgeports. What lathe you got?

It's Taiwanese, Kingston is the name on it, 5' 16". I'm getting ready to fire it up.

These show both gable ends and a couple extra views. Look at those dove tails.

I don't think I could have given that Log Cabin away. Beautiful.
Thank you, but I knew that I was going to retire in KY in a few years so I didn’t want to ship it to KY. What was cool about the farm I bought in KY is that it had an old cabin that had been moved out of Mammoth Cave National Park when they were putting the park together and a couple raised 11 or 13 kids in it. A couple of those kids came back to see if it was still standing so I got to hear a bunch of stories.
