I dont know how you straighten out a barn without dropping it on yourself, very impressive. Neighbors cant get anyone to do theirs, I thought about taking it on then decided not after a hard look and imagining it falling on me.

No gimmies today, at one point I was thinking about my intestines dropping down into my nut sack. Dimensions top and bottom right on, posts are perpendicular to gravity, and when I released the cross cable, my diagonals were/are dead nuts.

A nice 3 1/2 year old 10 who disappeared last November

Well, I'll be. I wondered where he got off to last November. The ditch leading down into Earnhardt is about a stone's throw from me, up top.

I'm ready, almost, my Loved One has abandoned me forever. I thought that you left Kentucky for forever? Pastor Terry is trying to save my soul from eternal hell fire, bless his heart. I'm attending service this morning. The hummingbirds, whip-poor-wills, and yellow billed cuckoos are still here but I'm anticipating their departure soon.

A quick review of indigo lactarus. I have never found a pile of these as I did a couple of weeks ago and normally would eat a couple of these mixed with other shrooms. These are not like chanterelles in that you cook a pan full and scarf them all down, I tried but didn't make it. They are edible and nutritious but not as tasty. I processed the remainder of the pile to be added to cooked dishes, they are better mixed in, say, a soup or a half dozen eggs.

I found some cute little cinnamon chanterelles the other day

along with some chanterelles. I thought that I had my last for the season but got another little flush after a rain down in the ditch. They never really did pop up on the ridge this year like last.

My little ten has been a regular along with goofy and palmate. I haven't seen the 8's lately. I believe the little ten may have disappeared last year because he was pushed away by Target 10 in November. Target 10 is still at the taxidermist shop.

Thanks for checking in, no snake bites, haven't seen one since. No hunting either. I got a load of work in my shop. While my Loved One was mad at me I drove my box trailer up to Michigan, camped in it, did half my work, then packed up my tools and brought them to KY. Then I went back with my neighbors help and we picked up my machines. This is where I am currently at now, my lathe is still on the trailer. My commute to work, for the meanwhile, will be about 10 feet.

While me and the boys were away

the coyotes played. They killed one of my girls down in the ditch behind the old cabin.

The night that I returned, one delivered me some paw paw seeds right outside my door.

No pictures of the nice ten lately. Palmate and goofy are around as is target 8.

This old boy made a return appearance.
