I recall a much fuller array of colors from the Smokies. Perhaps you killed all the beautiful ones. Dogwoods have produced the most vibrant colors here thus far.

I turn some red maples brown not dogwood or sourwood.

You need to hunt for that special light, in the same intense manner you utilize to hunt for those bucks. I posted that link upon the fly (first query result fetched). I only now read it. It offers some good tips and you can locate better ones doing the same. I liked two of his shots. You had good light upon your last shroom posted.

Tiny has gotten big!!!

105lbs or so, taller than Tank, almost as long.

Kill Zone this evening. Target 10 was in front of a vacant Kill Zone stand this morning.

Kill Zone again this morning, no deer.

Amphitheater of Hunting stand this evening. 3 coyote came through, I took my release off and readied my 9 but didn't throw lead.

I didn't see the 8 but I heard him in the staging area on his way up.

When he dropped back down I grunted him up under my stand. I knew it was him I shouldn't have.

Same deer that watched me get out of the stand 10 days ago.

I hadn't seen the big 9 on camera for a few days, he checked in.

Another little buck with a broke head.
