Thanks for the tip Drahts I need a hit of diatomaceous earth too. Tiny had a second worming, strongid+, 2 weeks ago. I was already back in Ky when I got the fecal report + for giardia. He is waiting on the arrival of 4 days of panacur. I was blaming my roiled gut last week on my Loved Ones pasta and spicy meatloaf. I found an old stash of flagyl yesterday and took 500mg. Normal gastrological function has returned, so far.

I actually saw some deer three days ago.



No deer two days ago, camera showed no deer for the past five days through the Kill Zone.

I had a good reason for not shooting my new target buck, he showed up 7 minutes too late.





But serious, this guy is still in and out all nights long.

Hunting concluded on Monday



and habitat started on Tuesday. I'm into a 2 acre area between my emerging food plot and the steep.







I'm putting the hack hammer into every stem that isn't oak, dogwood, red bud, and some select tulip poplar and sugar maple. I'm leaving some rub trees in rub areas. When conditions are right I will flick my Bic.

 

It was 3:30pm yesterday by the time that I got the dead wood cut to the ground in my work area






then I flicked my Bic.



The fire showed promise but fizzled out by 4:30.





With 2, possibly 3 big bucks removed from the ridge top I'm trying to coax this guy into moving in.
