hate to hear that,, just got me thinking the cops should go undercover in them parking lots,, kinda like that show where the wait for them to steal the cars and then disable it... but disable the thief not the car!

Make sure you keep checking craigslist... Im sure if the person was a low life thief to steal it out of your truck, he sure would be dump enuff to post it on craigslist sooner or later!!! Good luck with finding it and also i had my hunting bucket stolen out of the back of my truck in that same meijer parking lot years ago. it was in the back with my quad ,,, just glad it wasnt my quad.

I live off of six mile lane only about 3 minutes from there. I will keep an eye and ear out but I doubt it will do any good. Like someone else said, Look at the parking lot cameras. It is crawling with them.

I work Meijer Security in Northern KY and Southern OH. If you file a police report and the officer goes there they will check cameras. Parking lot cameras aren't the best. You might get lucky. Should be able to figure out vehicle description.

Thanks for the tips guys! I have filed a report and a friend of mine is a detective and he plans to help investigate. Yes, I had it in the back of my truck, but I have a topper and everything was locked up. I know it was stupid, but heck, sometimes you have to hit the store before a hunting trip and I never expected anything like this would happen.

Wow, you would think it would be safe with a locked topper during the day. I guess that's a lesson for us all.
