Ive been after a decent 10 point all year, havent ever seen him except on camera, but i didnt hunt early archery. I'm heading out in the morning...over the last 5 days, he has been there between 5 and 6 AM, but thursday morning, he stayed until almost 7. I want to get in there early and try not to bump him. He shows up around 5 or a little after every morning this week. I plan on getting into the stand at 5 AM, instead of my usual 5:45 or so. I plan on using a drag rag with doe pee on it, as well as heavy cover scent. is there anything else i should do? If he keeps it up, he will be there in the morning! I hunted this evening and didnt see anything. So my question is, am i doing something wrong? should i approach it differently? I take the same path into the woods every time, and there are usually always new tracks on it so i dont think they really know im there.
