Snakes are a crawling

If its anything but a copperhead or a rattlesnake I usually do. This one was within 50 yards of two houses, it had to come thru their front yard to cross the road. I have grandkids that I wouldn't want playing in the yard with one of these in it, would you?

Nope if its in the yard you should do what you gotta do but in the wild I prefer to leave them alone.

Well I think the relocation was just fine. I would do the same if a Copperhead or Rattler was found around here

This is what I do. Can’t have venomous snakes around the house but if I’m out in the woods, they get a pass.

I dont think compassion has a thing to do with it. An argument can made that they keep pests under control but id say other snakes would fill that gap. I would be ok with the extinction of Mosquitoes, ticks, poisonous snakes, and poisonous insects. You win the argument though because those critters reproduce so well that extinction will not happen. Lol

I’ve only encountered two rattlers in the woods. Mostly I see them on or near the highways.
