    Slingshot Small Game Hunting Thread!
Hi everyone, I am new and was looking for information about slingshot hunting or any hunters here, and not found one. So, here we go! Take photos of your slingshots. Which one do you use? DYI slingshots? Rabbits, squirrels?
I have a Wisdoman, but can't figure out howto attach the photo. It's like this one https://outdoorsly.org/best-hunting-slingshot/
Use 8 to 10mm leads. 10s preferable as they're heavier but still aren't too big for the pouch

Love to help you, but I can't. Only "game" I've killed with a slingshot was a cardinal sitting in the mulberry tree back in 1978, and after stashing it behind the garage and telling my little brother about it, Mom overheard me and used my wrist-rocket to beat me half to death! ;-)

I never shot at anything but bats with a slingshot. That episode of Andy Griffith where Opie shot the momma bird and had to raise the babies pulled at my heartstrings.

I just ordered a Simpleshot Scout with the upgraded band holders. Should arrive today or tomorrow. Cost about $43 shipping and all.

I grew up with a "Wrist Rocket" in my hands from about age 7 until 11 when I upgraded to a .22 break action pellet gun.

Bought a new one a few years ago and was un impressed with the performance... It seems like the older ones I had would sling a rock better? I have used the new one to sling a marble up into a bridge to run pigeons out for the guns.

You'll like that scout. I've had one for a good while now. I shoot it better than I do my little simpleshot torque, but the torque just fits in my back pocket better

You are the reason I bought the Scout! You turned me on to Simpleshot.

I shot it a few times... I had some .25 cal steel slingshot ammo and a few marbles. Both shot well! I'm wondering how #4 lead buckshot which is .24 cal would shoot?

All I've ever shot much is marbles. They do well enough on bullfrogs, birds and rabbits. Squirrels have to be hit in the head or neck with the marbles tho. Tough sobs

I picked up some Dollar Tree marbles to shoot up into bridges and onto barges to run pigeons out... You have a source that you recommend? I have seen the white Daisey brand also.
