Don't get excited and throw the blanket just easy it down over trap,. If one is extremely aggressive have someone to spray water on it while you do the blanket,. All that skunk wants to do is get out of the rain/water hose and gives you the advantage once it's over trap he'll calm down

I want to get likerd up and go skunk hunting with you boys. Dont know if i want to man the hose, hold the spot light, or operate the flame thrower but i think ill pass on being the blanket tosser. Or do we have to rotate and take turns? Im new at this.

I did the Blanket last year and he didn't spray at all. Then picked up the trap by the handle CAREFULLY and moved him 50 yards away from where I caught him.
Hour later I Eased the blanket up and popped him.

    Hell,
I just shot them in the yard. Wife comes home and says, I smell a skunk. I just say, yeah, be gone in a day or two. I hate them little striped bastards.

I'd rather smell skunk than a mink. Lol
Them skunks can turn up anywhere, I was trapping once back in hills after cats. Got bout half way and there's a skunk right in middle of log road, no way around shouldn't been a problem I grabbed old trap pistol took aim it snaps around all 6 I'd forgotten to reload!
So skunks have pore vision I backed off with 4 wheeler sit there little bit and started make a run for it but decided didn't want that smell on rest of my trapping stuff, had to walk rest of line
