Yuk...the army worms apparently attracted skunks on my place to feast on the worms.

Havahart and a 22 to the head?

    Small bowl of antifreeze?

Shoot them out a window or door?

    Hire an exterminator or trapper?

Im afraid every option will have a skunk spray in the yard that will not sit well with the manager.

I'd probably just ride it out for a while.

Spray your yard and kill the worms

Dont shoot in the head, head shots cause them to spray. shoot in the stomach or the heart but be at a slight distance and have a backstop.

Everyone i ever shot ended in regret. I still keep shooting them, but that smell lingers for several days and ends up in the house.

Smacked one with my recurve and a judo point the other day in the yard. Sumbitch did 4 donuts and emptied himself before he keeled over. It wasn't worth it.

Cage trap, wet blanket (to hold in front of you then lay over trap,) garden hose under blanket and lay other end in exhaust of truck . few minutes it'll go to sleep
Or #2 cage and build wood box around it easy enough to drop in barrel of water, no spray

Skunks are easy to fence in to where you want like a cage ie. Boards set at a angle to lead them right to the trap

Thanks for the ideas . I have shot one in a havaheart Not a good result as mentioned. I think i might try the wet blanket over the trap. I foresee the critter unloading in the blanket drop though. Maybe not?

But doesn’t the “wood box around it” cause it to float?
