Nighteyes gun light mounted with a beamshot mount. Also use Nighteyes headlamp for scanning.

since we are restricted to shotguns you don't have to spend tons of money on your lights like you do with rifles. I use wicked lights for both scanning and shooting lights. I use a scan pro headlamp for scanning obviously an A48 ambush (I think thats the right model) for my gun light. If or when they finally let us use rifles I will be the first in line to spends thousands on thermals and NV. I am to the point where Im ready to quit night hunting until that happens. Just isn't worth the time to be honest. I have WAY better rates on call ins per stand then I do during the day but they just don't want to come in close enough.

Last 3 sentences are the key.
Don't waste your time with a shotgun at night. It can be done every once in a while, but not often enough to fool with it.
