I finally got out to shooting the 204 rugers i been getting ready for yote hunting. Always used a 223 or 22-250 and still like those calibers but i think the 204 will serve me better as i tend to save the hides and tan them. This is with federal premium 32 gr ammo. The Thompson center shot the 32 and 40 very well but favored the 32's. The Howa only liked the 32's wouldnt group the 40's at all. 20190809_172328.jpg 20190809_172405.jpg 20190809_172236.jpg

That t/c a compass? I bought a 204 in the t/c compass, painted it od green and topped it with a hawke 4-16x44. Love the gun, but haven’t got much of a chance to play with it at the range. Shot a couple decent groups with the 32grain hornadys at about 75 yards just to get scope close

Its a Thompson Center Compass 204! My shoots 1" to .875" groups with federal 32 grns and 1" groups with 40 grns. It will get better when i start reload. Havent try hornadys yet but i have a few boxs of them...
