Let me start off my saying.....before I get a "how much did that cost?!?!?!". Being in the construction business since 1983 most of this stuff was just "laying" around our shop for the most part. I'll start from the ground up! We used 10' 6x6 for skids then done 2x6 floor joist with an 8x8 base. The walls are all 2x4 with 9' studs in the front and 8' studs in the back. The windows are pretty much brand new 3'0 x 4'0 windows that were in a lake house we tore down and rebuilt new. The door is a 3'0 exterior door, walls have 7/16 sheathing. Yes that's stained James Hardie siding on the outside! Left over from a lake house so might as well put it to good use! I went ahead and finished it out like a house 30 year shingles, carpet, trim, R19 insulation, calked, Advantech subfloor. I figured I might as well do it right! I plan on my son and his son being able to use it if they take up my love for hunting!
