When do prices on shell corn start to drop and where are prices at currently? Last I heard sounded somewhat high. Thanks in advance for info.

Where at in Bardstown? That's probably where I'd be headed anyway. Forget the names of the two places

I paid 9.50/100 at the Amish but I normally get it for market price from my cousin who farms.

How about ear corn ? I found one place at $7 for 70 pound bag and have one other place to check yet. Think I am going to give ear corn a try this year in one camera setup just to see how much longer it will last. A 50 lb bag of shelled will vanish overnight in the spot I have in mind.

Current market price for shell corn is around $3.25/bushel, bushel is 52# dry little more depending on the moisture. The price you are quoting is dryed and bagged, the market price will come down some as harvesting progresses but suppliers will not decrease much, best value is to buy a gravity wagon load from a farmer if you have a place to store it.

Here in crittenden county depends who I buy it from. 11.50 $ per hundred and 12.00 $ per hundred the 12.00 is clean corn he shells it by hand and cleans all the trash. He only sales it to few people he only does it to keep him busy he only plants few acres.
