first set of sheds my buddy found today.
He's going to be a good one next year.
Sweet find.shooter next year maybe.
Yes sir, nice!
You use a dog? or just boots on the ground? My son in Idaho and his buddy put out a feed bucket with bungie cords in front of it to capture the antlers. Anyone hear of that before? I ll get more info and a pic if possible.
Just feet on the ground. I’ve drove a few fence posts before and run a strand of chicken wire on them and put corn right along the wire...I’ve grabbed a few sheds that way
I might be wrong ,somebody correct me if I am,I believe I heard somebody say ,it was illegal to use antler traps ,in Ky. now.
I believe you are correct.
I have tried that before but no luck.
did something years ago with wire fencing. illegal now in Ky.
Yep, antler traps can no longer be used, pg 11 of the hunting guide.
They put that in awful small print. I guess you can still "SPILL" corn under a fence if you want to try and catch some sheds.
That’s about a dumb law. What proof do they have that it hurts anything? I’ve not done it in years but If I wanted to its good to know the laws have changed.
