When does everyone start shed hunting? Some of the deer around here as dropped but majority of the big deer they are still hanging on to them.
I have already found a full set while on the trapline.

December. I’ve found a single as early as the 21st and a set on the 22. The biggest I’ve found was New Year’s Day here in Ohio so keep your eye out.

Usually wait til end of February. I don’t go as much anymore but definitely found most of mine in march. I’ll see bachelor groups even in march of 3 or 4 still packing both sides

Usually end of February or early March I start looking deeper. I did find a matched set on the 28th. Only 3rd set I've found and it's the biggest I've found. Most bucks on camera were still packing as of last week

We were driving to in-laws today and wife said there's a deer shed, she went and knocked on the lady's door and asked if she mind that she pick it up. Lady let her take it lol

From the looks of it most have already dropped theirs by now but I usually don't start looking until March.

I have been out looking only once and found a small fork horn 2 weeks ago. Still seeing lots of bucks holding both sides

I don’t want to bump deer off of the small tracts I have permission to so I stay off of them from the last day of archery till March 1.

I've picked up 3 in the last couple of days, but still seeing bucks carrying their antlers... definitely starting to drop here though

My area Bucks are still carrying their antlers to-date. I found one side last Month, but I believe another Deer knocked it off him. He still retains the remaining left side antler, as I saw him a couple days ago, and it was still on top of his head.

Found first one yesterday on new property. I also haven't seen a buck carrying antlers since early January. Had some dropped both sides in December.
