I don't hunt Turkey, but have noticed the lack of Poults this year. Only saw one hen with two poults back in June.

Im loaded with poults this year but i planted beans so i think they have not had to travel and take risks for food. I’ve also been hard on the local predator population. Its been an issue in the past but this year is by far the best.

I'm in Allen Co. and the turkey numbers have been down around my house for a couple of years. I've got four cameras out and have got a small flock of 5-6 hens on camera and not a single poult!

I hunted KY last weekend, saw several groups of hens with 4 or 5 pouts each. Saw 3 groups during the course of the day, not the same group, 25 -30.
