No scrapes on my farm but lot's of rub's. Owen Co.
Nope but last weekend was my first time in the woods and I didn’t exactly “explore”. Have seen two bucks killed on the road this week. If it’s like the last 3 years rubs and scrapes won’t explode until December where I hunt.
I havent been or wont be in the woods, but my good friends, that hunt a lot, saying they are seeing way more scrapes than rubs , another guy said he saw a 6 point chasing a doe , out a field saturday,
Lots of rubs and scrapes in North christian county.
I don’t go looking for them anymore. Been hunting here since I was a kid. It’s the same ever year. I can go around and show you where there will be scrapes. I believe it does more harm than good wandering around looking for sign. Yes if you don’t know the place that’s different. Like this past weekend. I scouted country I’ve never been in before.
I've yet to see any active scrapes or rubs on my property but have seen several Bucks & Doe. The Buck I shot during the 2-day M/L season wasn't even in Rut. The weather has to change to colder conditions for Rut to heat-up.
last saturday after my hunt, I saw several scrapes and one rub on my property.
Scrapes Everywhere! Only a handful of rubs. Lewis Co
Saw several scrapes today that were totally clean and a few rubs. Of course this doesn’t do me any good since I was removing stands from a super property that I have hunted the past 11 years! Owner passed away and the family is not allowing any hunting anymore.
Only a couple of rubs last weekend but quite a few scrapes. All on edges as I didnt really go in the woods at all. Same spots as previous years.
Hundreds.. rubs and scrapes. Here’s just a small selection of scrape pics from this year. I’ve been getting them since the start of September. In fact, scraping was more active in September/early October than it has been the last week. Mature bucks seem to have made a round to recheck them (assuming they made them) in the earlier part of the middle of the month
That sucks. It will happen to me on one farm I hunt. But I got back ups.
Scouted 2-3 miles of LBL yesterday and only found 2 old scrapes. Seems like the weather might've shut em down. I expect it to crank up biggly this week. Lil brother is coming up from Florida to hunt with me. Should see some hit the ground.
Few rubs, few tracks, fewer scraps. Saw one big doe during three days of hiking, riding atvs. Don't know where the deer are.
Used to be that same way where I hunt which is another reason why I feel we have less and less deer every year where I hunt. Some of those spots I haven’t seen a scrape or rub in a couple seasons.
