Those merriam fans are beautiful
Congratulations, nice gobblers.. and pics...
$300 RT flight to Rapid City SD
$350 rental truck
$125 license in SD
$75 license in WY
Birds gobble more in SD. They gobble WAY more in WY.
Over a million acres of land that you own in the black hills that holds turkey. Land that is so beautiful that it is impossible to comprehend unless you see it in person. Gobblers fly from mountain to mountain.
99% of success is finding them.
WY is much better then SD. Birds gobble more, they come to you much easier and they have no hybridization.
I killed the SD bird in a place that looked like I should be hunting elk! Killed him at 6pm.
The WY bird came down a 60 degree ravine and back up the other side, gobblin the whole way.
People have no idea the hunting that exists out west. Makes everything here kinda boring.
You cannot be fat and out of shape and wearing a farcical flu mask!
I totally agree about the country in WY. I was out there filming a deer hunt several years ago, stayed in Hulett, right close to Devils Tower. Absolutely beautiful country out there! I think I'll do what you did next year!!!!!
Killed a bird in black hills ten or so years ago. You can walk outside at midnight and hit a locator call and they will gobble! By far the most vocal bird of any! Congrats!
Another huge thumbs up to wyoming, ZERO masked zombies!!!! I guess they don't drink blue koolaid in WY.
Congrats on two nice birds
congrats man!! Also something i need to look into in the next few years. Im liable to get out there and not come back
