I just traded a lawnmower for one and haven't shot it yet. What .223 rounds does your like?

Have two. A 6.5 and a 30.06. Haven’t shot either one of them. Price was right so I bought them on impulse and have put them back. Plan on trying out the 6.5 this Fall for sure.

Mine is a .243. It's very picky about ammo! For sure try some Winchester and a couple boxes of your choice. Might want to consider some trigger work. They are quite bad out of the box. Fairly easy to "fix" though.

You can look up some videos on how to trim the trigger spring to lighten the pull. There's also a lot of things you can do to stiffen the stock.

Why no accutrigger? Best out of the box trigger I have ever tried.

    I did the same,and added a Timney trigger,Warne rings/bases,and Burris optics. It's a shooter.

I could be wrong but I think the Axis II is the one that comes with the accutrigger. I also am a huge fan of the accutrigger for an out of the box trigger.
