Just curious..... Has anybody tried heating up sardines and having a sandwich with melted cheese, or anything like that? That should be outstanding.......

I eat mine on wraps sometimes with horseradish and melted Swiss but not heated the sardines themselves.

Try yum yum sauce on them or sriracha hot sauce.
I like to get a slice of onion, some good strong cheese and then put sriracha on them.
I’ve heard of heating them and eating them with white rice.

I been cooking them for awhile. Usually drain the oil out and apply some butter. Pretty good.

Fisherman's Breakfast- dump can of sardines and oil in iron skillet. Add onion and peppers (wild ramps are the best) everything get sizzlin and add eggs

How do you eat octopus like that, I mean you just eat the suckers and all? I notice they don’t skin them or it doesn’t look like it. Fried calamari is as close as I’ve had.
