Saw my first sandhills of the year this afternoon. Saw 3 groups of 25-30 headed South.
I don’t know if the lake is low enough yet for them to give it a look.
2 flocks over my house in PRP now. Love the that sound.
Saw a bunch today.
Are Sandhill quota only? I haven't been able to answer that question from the guide or the FW website.
Thanks dude, that's what I was leaning toward. I didn't realize I wanted to hunt them until I'd seen an episode of Meateater on them but had already missed the quota deadline by the time I'd learned of them and that we could hunt them here. Next year it is then.
Went to bowling green to get some parts this morning. Sandhills were flying everywhere.
I am gonna get my first sandhill in BG one of these days
Saw a ton today in Eastern Barren.
