    Saw my first sandhills of the year this afternoon. Saw 3 groups of 25-30 headed South.

    Are Sandhill quota only? I haven't been able to answer that question from the guide or the FW website.

    Thanks dude, that's what I was leaning toward. I didn't realize I wanted to hunt them until I'd seen an episode of Meateater on them but had already missed the quota deadline by the time I'd learned of them and that we could hunt them here. Next year it is then.

    Went to bowling green to get some parts this morning. Sandhills were flying everywhere.

    they are a little late usually start seeing them the end of october it will probably be january before there are enough around me to be huntable. They are a blast to decoy.
