I was out Saturday morning and didn't see any seeking or chasing, but did see a lot of fresh scrapes.

Had a shooter tailing a doe run right infront of my truck on the way to my farm this morning at 5:30. Seen her cross and as I got closer I slowed to see what she was and he busted out of the woods nose down right across 4 lanes of traffic without stoping. Haven't had any movement in my stand yet.

As long as scrapes are still getting hit were still a little ways from it getting right...
When the scrapes are abandoned you better look out...lol

The "rut" will kick in high gear on Thursday at 3:20am and be over with on Tuesday at 7:45pm.

Better hurry up and not miss it.

Saturday morning I saw a 120 class buck following a doe around 10:00 am. And then later on in the day, saw another buck with three does. Definitely getting started. I"m taking off friday and saturday and will be in the woods a lot those days. Then if I don't connect, I'm off the following friday/saturday. Things will be hot then for sure (nov 4-6).

I agree and the ones I've been getting multiple bucks on are getting that way as of today. Rubs are increasing too almost overnight which to me is another sign its very close. Seems as frustration builds they start really shredding the trees. Found 2 or 3 of those type rubs today where there were none Friday

Young Buck to 2.5 year olds are wanting to kick it off. Sniffing rubbing scrapping and chasing. The BIGGER BOYS that ARE OLDER knows it isn't time till the Does are ready.
