Jay Fish, did, and i think, still owns this Kings buck, There has been a lot of controversy, over this Buck , and the one Milo killed. I think, but may be wrong, this buck, has a point, that some have , scored and considered, a true point coming off the beam, and some say that the point is possibly coming off another point. I think im right on that, has been a big topic, anyway. I also think, that Milo, shot off part of the beams on his buck, think i got , a pic of it with black tape on it. Anyway, i think im right, on all that, but dont really care enough, to go back, and research it. Both are absolute giants.

Somebody educate me....Where is money to be made on “owning” someone's trophy deer? Is the buyer looking to make a return on their investment? (of course if you have more money that you can spend I guess it does not matter if it makes return or not....that's a problem I'll never have)

Steve, i think for Bass Pro, or a sporting good store, its mainly an attraction, to get people in the stores, It would draw people in, that , might get to see a buck, that if the individual, still owned it, and at their home.might couldnt get to.As for individuals , I guess its kinda like, people buying a painting, or if someone, as a antler collector, other than to say they own it, or maybe, get paid to some shows to set up a display. Other than that, i dont have a clue, But none of it would ever get their money back. It will always be listed, in [email protected] as owner, and then the person that killed it.

Million dollars is a fortune to some abs a rounding error to others.

Look at what baseball cards or certain shoes etc sale for.

To each his own. My best deer is just slightly smaller than the hanson buck and scores about 110. I’d probably let it go for just under a million. Maybe.

Private collector will add it to their collection and look at it, not buying it to make money off of it.
