Have no idea of the validity of this.....Neighbor told me he heard several COs quit due to KSP getting pay raises and they didn't. Fake news or something to it?

Well, I do know that KSP did receive a pay raise, not sure about KDFWR.

Are CO's paid from the same funds that our licenses and what not contribute to or is it a governmental position like state cops? Just curious. I know government has always wanted its hands on the money so wasn't sure.

I actually put in an application "way back." My buddy from college also did....he went to work and said F...this In a couple years and went and got a normal job. I got smart and said "I changed my mind" and moved on.

I finished my deer hunt Monday, standing next to my truck taking gear off by the road,a truck approaching I could tell it was a CO driving. Saw the sign on truck and anticipated them stopping and checking my stuff. He never slowed and just kept going. Thought he might U turn and come back. Nope. That's a first.
