I see on the guns you regret selling post that a couple people mentioned the Ruger 77. I’ve owned and a couple in 22lr and 22mag. In fact I still have a 22mag.
How many of you still have love for the Ruger 77 in a deer rifle caliber, and if you got rid of one, what was it you didn’t like about it.

I got rid of one in a 7mm Mag, the old skeleton stock. Kickinest gun I've ever owned. Shoulda sent it off for a brake, but it was unbearable

I had a compact in a 308 and a standard in a 243. I liked the control round feed
bolt. They also had the tang safety which is my favorite on a hunting rifle.
The bad is the triggers they had,it was like trying to pull a lid off a screw top jar.
Both were good shooting guns...

I've owned several 22 hornet 223 243 and still own a 3006 good guns just needed money on a few and the hornet didn't offer enough over a 22 mag for me to keep.
The 06 belonged to my late brother and will never leave my possession it has the adjustable trigger and hooded front sites with flip up rear site.

I own a Ruger M-77 Hawkeye with open sights in .308, which is my go to Deer rifle. Also own a Ruger M-77 MKII in .270 Win. Both have Leupold scopes on them too.

I have a model 77-22 All Weather heavy barrel, a 22-250 with regular barrel and walnut stock. I had a 25-06 in the early 90s that wouldn't shoot for crap traded it in on a 22-250 heavy barrel that I do regret selling.

I’ve had a few, my 1st was a 6mm with a bull barrel which was floated, glass bedded and trigger set to two lbs killed a ton of groundhogs with it. Regretted it but traded it off for a lighter gun when I started deer hunting. currently have a .243 had the barrel floated and trigger set to two lbs topped with a Leupold var III 3.5x10-44, it will be passed down to a grandchild someday.

They are my favorite rifles by far and I haven't owned one yet that wasn't a great shooter. I own them in about every caliber and configuration they ever made them in.

I have a tang safety in 7 mag that in thinking of parting with. Killed an elk in Wyoming and and one here with it. I won’t be hunting elk anymore so I’ll probably let someone else take it on adventure.
