Here we go hahaha
I might’ve heard something about a rage before.
If the Doe was standing pumping blood out. SHE IS DEAD. What happen???
Wasn't going to hunt all day, but saw 8 does between 11 and 1. Also had a decent 8 cruising at 1130. Saw several more between 1 and 3, then nothing. Total of about 15 does and 2 8s cruising. Will sleep in tomorrow and back at it just before the rain pushes through.
I grunted a 4 point in this afternoon. Only deer I saw, except for the 5 standing in front of my truck when I walked out.
Solo doe came in at 5:15. I thought perfect exactly what I want. Perfectly broad side at 25 yards with a down hill angle from where my blinds on an old dried up pond dam. Drew back and put it right where I wanted it. No more then 2 inches back from where I was aiming. Honestly one of the most confident bow shots I’ve ever had in my life. She kicked ran up hill about 15 yards and just stood there. I’m smiling ear to ear. Thanking God. You name it. The arrow was sticking out about 8 inches on the exit side at the perfect angle. I pulled out the binos and gave her a look to make sure I wasn’t loosing it. Blood was coming out of both sides so I figured she was just tough. The other deer in the area weren’t bothered at all. She just kept standing there. Then she would move 10 yards with her tail tucked almost like a scared dog in a thunderstorm she just looked like she was going to fall over. She just very slowly walked down the creek bank out of sight and I thought there’s no way this is happening. I left the area and went back to the truck and cleared out the bed and got my kart ready and my flash lights. Just figured I’d give her some time. Went back and found 4 pools of blood where I watched her stand. You can even tell in the picture I’ll post that the closest bigger pile of blood was from the exit side and from the angle it was lower then the entry so it was coming out more then the entry side but none the less 4 piles this size I know she’s dead. Fallowed it till it turned to drips and then it just disappeared. Started to rain and my lights were getting dim. So I guess I’ll make the drive back down tomorrow to prove I’m not crazy if I can find her. Used a rage hypodermic. Last year I lung shot 2 does that died within 50 yards with little to no blood trail. So I was just trying to use this last one out of the 3 pack and what should have been an easy kill. Haven’t felt this bummed out and sad in a long time.
That Doe is dead. I bet she double back on ya and she is close.
She’s dead and I’d say she’s dead close. My suggestion is if you really want the meat, go back out there tonight and get her before the coyotes do
Looks like liver blood. Obviously didn't pop both lungs or she'd tipped over in front of you. She's dead
If you didn't bump her, she won't be far. Obviously didn't catch lung, looks like liver hit. She's most definitely dead. Good luck.
THIS THIS RIGHT HERE. If you want the meat better go get it. She is there DEAD. Going to be warm meat spoiled or Coyotes eat it. GOOD LIGHTS take a Dog any kind that will trail and smell. FRIENDS TO She is there.
That's alot of blood
Agree with the others, thats a dead deer. Looks like a liver hit, may have caught a piece of 1 lung. If you didnt bump her, she is close.
